Our Guest Speaker for October 8 will be Constable Ariel Reyes, with his presentation “How Seniors can be Proactive with Fraud, Scams and Auto Theft”
He has been an officer with Peel Police since 2006. For most of his career he has served at 11 Division, working on the road, and in the 11 Criminal Investigations Unit. For two years he was in the neighbourhood policing unit as a school resource officer, looking after Loyola Catholic Secondary School and Erindale Secondary School.
Since then he has worked in homicide, and was an investigator on the Chicken Land Shooting. Constable Reyes has spent four years as a financial crimes investigator in the Fraud Bureau, specializing in Elder Abuse. He joined the crime prevention team in the spring of this year.
