On May 2nd, nineteen Sheridan Probus members travelled to Toronto to see the musical Hamiltonat the beautiful Princess of Wales Theatre. Our seats, which were located at the right side of the theatre, gave us excellent sight lines and we were able to see the stage clearly and everything that was happening.

Hamilton is a sung-and-rapped-through musical by Lin-Manuel Miranda which tells the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton. Although we may not have understood all of the rapping, we had to marvel at the genius of Miranda and his ability to transform an entire book into a rapped musical! The choreography was amazing, as was the acting.

Before the show, 13 of our members decided to have dinner at the Elephant and Castle where everyone appeared to have a great time judging from the noise level in the section of the restaurant assigned to our group.

All in all, it was a fun and successful outing!
